This list starts with the Australian speedster Shaun Tait who bowled the fastest delivery of 157.7 kmph. This magic happened in 2011 when Shaun Tait was playing for Rajasthan Royals and he delivered the fastest bowl against Aron Finch who was playing for Delhi Daredevils. Australia is known for its fast bowlers and Shaun Tait showed his immense talent in IPL.
2:- Lockie Ferguson
When we talk about fast bowlers, we can’t ignore the Kiwi speedster Lockie Ferguson. He bowled with a speed of 157.3 kmph while playing for Gujrat Titans. He bowls with new ball in powerplays and swings the bowl both ways at high speed which makes it difficult for batters to play.
3:- Umran Malik
In 2022 he bowled the delivery with the speed of 157 kmph while playing for Surisers Hyderabad. This Indian fast bowler surprised everyone when made his debut in 2021 and bowled fast as light and shattered.
4:- Anrich Nortje
South African pacer known for his in-swingers and out-swingers and also for his speed. He bowled the delivery of 156.2 kmph while playing for Delhi Capital against one of the best T20 batters Joss Butler who was playing for Rajasthan Royals.
5:- Umran Malik
Umran Malik re-enters the list with a speed of 156 kmph. He delivered this ball against the Delhi Capitals while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2022.
6:- Anrich Nortje
Proteas fast bowler Anrich Nortje re-enters the list as he clocked a speed of 155.1 kmph in the year 2020 for Delhi Capitals. That year Delhi reached the finals for the first time and Nortje played a crucial role in it.
7:- Umran Malik
The Indian speed gun again featured in this when he bowled with a speed of 154.8 kmph against Delhi Capitals in 2022.
