Adani's wedding expenses surpass Ambani's salary.

In India, the prominent wealthy businessmen include Adani and Ambanis. Last year, Mukesh Ambani spent nearly Rs. 5,000 crore on the grand wedding of his younger son, Anant Ambani, which was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur. It is well known that the city of Mumbai was buzzing with extravagant celebrations, with guests from both within the country and abroad. However, recently in 2025, another wealthy individual in the country, Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, had the wedding of his younger son, Jeet Adani. In contrast to the Ambani wedding, Adani did not conduct his son's wedding with such grandeur. Not only did Adani organize his son's wedding simply, but he also announced a donation of Rs. 10,000 crore. It was decided that most of this donation would be spent on healthcare, education, and skill development.

The donation announced by Adani will focus on bringing better hospitals and medical colleges to all sections of society. The funds will also be used to upgrade Global Skills Academies. Adani posted wedding photos of his son on his Twitter account. However, Jeet Adani apologized for not inviting many close relatives to the wedding. He revealed that the wedding took place in Ahmedabad, following traditional rituals and auspicious customs, with loved ones in attendance. Before the wedding, the Adani Group initiated the ‘Mangal Seva’ initiative.

It was revealed that every year, 500 newlywed disabled women will receive financial assistance. According to the information provided by the Adani Group, a financial aid of Rs. 10 lakh will be provided each year to help these women start their new life. Jeet Adani personally met with 25 newlywed disabled women and their husbands and provided them with financial support.
